The City of Sturgis is excited to announce the Official Campground of the Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™. Sturgis City Manager Daniel Ainslie stated “Our partnership with the Pappy Hoel Campground is a win – win. We all want the very best for our attendees, and we are confident that those who choose to enjoy the Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™ while staying at the Pappy Hoel Campground will most definitely have a great Rally experience.”
The Pappy Hoel Campground, named in honor of the founder of the Sturgis Rally by Michael Ballard and Jesse James Dupree, is all about the Rally enthusiast. The 600-acre venue is located within minutes of downtown Sturgis on Hwy 79. Guests can choose from a great selection of lodging amenities including cabins and spacious RV and tent sites. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of an Olympic size pool, an on-site restaurant and a grocery store. Daily entertainment includes Sons of Speed Vintage Motorcycle Racing, world-class concerts by the hottest bands, Harley-Davidson demo rides and much more. Additionally, Harley-Davidson’s pin-stop, now called the H.O.G. check-in, will be hosted exclusively at the Pappy Hoel Campground.
