ARE PETS WELCOMED AT PAPPY HOEL CAMPGROUND?
Pets are welcome at Pappy Hoel Campground but we ask that you abide by our best practices to ensure the best experience for everyone at the campground.
- A contained pet is a happy pet. Dogs must be on leash when walking around the campground and on a secure lead at your site. Portable enclosures and tie outs are fine as long as you don’t encroach on your neighbor’s site.
- Keep an eye on your pet at all times outside your rig. We want for everyone to have a good experience at Pappy Hoel Campground and dogs must be on a leash at all times - no exceptions.
- Be sure to scoop the poop! No one wants to step in a fresh pile while taking their morning walk to the shower house. Please be mindful of your fellow campers and clean up after your pet.
- Your pet is your responsibility. We recommend that you have a way to monitor your pet while you are out riding for the day with a digital device such as a Waggle. We do experience power outages due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Your RV can become unsafe quickly in hot temperatures and we ask that you have a way to monitor the temperature in your RV so that you know if you need to return to check on your pet.
- Is your dog overly social? Please be mindful of your neighbors if you have a dog that is very “talkative.”
Hire a pet sitter. Inquire at the General Store to see if any pet sitters are on the property or in the area.
